Terms & Conditions for Customers
1. Introduction
Welcome to The Valeting Hub. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our services, including all bookings made through our platform. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before using our services. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.
2. Booking and Payment
-
All bookings must be made through our platform. You will receive a confirmation of your booking via email.
-
Payments are due at the time of booking and can be made via accepted payment methods, including credit/debit cards and other electronic payment options.
-
By making a booking, you confirm that you have the legal right to use the chosen payment method.
3. Cancellation Policy
Customers can cancel bookings up to 24 hours in advance without incurring a charge. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled service may incur a fee, which will be determined based on the circumstances. In the event of a no-show, the full amount may be charged. We reserve the right to modify our cancellation policy at any time, and customers will be notified of any changes.
4. Customer Responsibilities
Customers must provide accurate and complete information about their vehicle during the booking process. This includes details about the vehicle's condition, size, and any specific requirements. Customers are responsible for ensuring that the vehicle is accessible for the valeter at the scheduled time and location. If the vehicle is not accessible, a cancellation fee may apply.
5. Service Limitations
Our services are subject to availability and may vary based on vehicle type and condition. The Valeting Hub reserves the right to refuse service if a vehicle is deemed unsafe or unsuitable for the services requested. Estimated service times are provided as a guideline and may vary based on external factors such as weather conditions and traffic.
6. Feedback and Ratings
We encourage customers to provide feedback on the services received. Feedback may be collected through our platform in the form of ratings and reviews. Customer feedback will be used to improve our services and the services of valeters. All feedback is subject to our review policy, and we reserve the right to remove inappropriate or offensive content.
7. Liability and Damages
The Valeting Hub accepts no liability for any damages, losses, or claims arising from the services provided by valeters. Valeters take full responsibility for their actions and are liable for all costs related to any damage caused to vehicles or property during the service. Customers should report any damage immediately to the valeter and resolve the issue directly with them.
8. Disputed Payments
In the event of a payment dispute, customers must notify The Valeting Hub within 14 days of the payment date. Customers should provide detailed information regarding the nature of the dispute. We will investigate the claim and respond within a reasonable timeframe. If a payment dispute remains unresolved, the customer may escalate the issue through our designated dispute resolution process, as outlined in Clause 10.
9. Confidentiality
Valeters must keep all customer information, including personal data and service details, confidential. This obligation extends beyond the duration of the service and applies to any proprietary information obtained while using the platform. Unauthorized disclosure of confidential information is strictly prohibited and may result in the termination of the valeter's account.
10. Compliance with Laws
Valeters must comply with all relevant laws and regulations governing their services, including health and safety regulations, data protection laws, and any local licensing requirements. The Valeting Hub does not assume responsibility for the compliance of valeters with such laws.
11. Force Majeure
Both parties are freed from liability for any delays or failures to perform their obligations under these Terms due to circumstances beyond their control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of government, war, fire, flood, or civil unrest. In such cases, parties will not be liable for any losses incurred.
12. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute arising from these Terms or the services provided, the parties agree to first attempt to resolve the issue through mediation. If mediation fails, disputes may be submitted to arbitration in accordance with applicable laws. This process aims to provide a fair resolution without the need for court proceedings.
13. Non-Solicitation
Valeters are prohibited from soliciting customers directly outside the platform for services that are similar to those offered through The Valeting Hub. This clause aims to protect our customer base and maintain the integrity of our platform.
14. Data Protection
Personal data will be handled in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable data protection laws. Customers have the right to access their personal data and request corrections where necessary. Further details on data handling can be found in our Privacy Policy.
